Position Overview Operational Risk Management (ORM) sits within the Chief Risk Office (CRO) function, which has Group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market, operational, enterprise and liquidity risk and has the responsibility of continual development of methods for risk measurement, frameworks and creating a bank wide strong risk culture. The purpose of the ORM function is to ensure that the bank’s Operational Risk exposure is managed in-line with the group wide risk appetite and framework.To achieve this ORM requires you as a Risk Manager to have the right balance of knowledge and experience to assess complex risks and intervene if they fall outside the bank’s risk appetite, showing your strong understanding of Transaction Processing Risk (TPR) and of the Operations business.
