Logistics & Transport Specialist - Herefordshire
An established UK-wide organisation is seeking a Logistics & Transport Specialist to coordinate, plan and procure haulage for a wide range of items-from vehicles to heavy machinery.
Based at a Herefordshire site, this role involves managing all transport activity to and from the location, working closely with a strong network of haulage partners, and supporting both domestic and international clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all incoming and outgoing haulage
Source, negotiate, and secure cost-effective transport solutions
Optimise load planning while reducing environmental impact
Maintain accurate records, monitor invoices, and ensure full compliance
Collaborate with suppliers to meet regulatory and insurance standards
About You
Background in logistics, transport, or a related field (preferred)
Highly organised, proactive, and solution-focused
Able to balance cost, sustainability, and customer service priorities
