We are committed to fostering a dynamic and supportive environment where our staff can thrive and develop their careers.Role Overview:We are looking for an energetic and proactive Assistant Transport to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is lively, fluent in English, and ready to contribute to our transport departments success.Key Responsibilities:Assisting with transport paperwork and administrative tasks.Assisting the Transport Manager with his daily duties.Supporting the transport team in organising jobs and deliveries.Phoning forklift dealers to introduce and promote PHL UK Ltds transport services.Building relationships with transport companies and securing jobs.Acting as the face of our transport department with enthusiasm and professionalism.preferably should have an understanding of container exports and imports.preferably should have an understanding of imports and exports to Europe and customs procedures.preferably should have an understanding of the basics of transport.Assisting with paperwork from the workshop.What Were Looking For:Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).Energetic, lively, and proactive personality.Enthusiastic and eager to learn.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently.Strong communication skills, especially on the phone.Full training will be provided, but the candidate must be willing to learn and develop in the role.Benefits:-Attractive company pension scheme -Sick pay -20 holidays plus bank holidays -Private medical insuranceThis role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a transport professional over time.
