TRANSPORT CLERK

Pertemps Milton Keynes branch is seeking an experienced Transport Clerk to join our client in Milton Keynes on a temp to perm basis.

The Role: We are looking for a proactive and personable individual with a background in transport operations to support the smooth running of a fast-paced transport department.

Your role will entail: Welcome drivers with a friendly and professional approach Issue vehicle keys and ensure all relevant paperwork (delivery schedules, service instructions) is accurate and complete Monitor vehicle tracking and promptly report any delays or issues to senior staff Maintain clear communication and build strong relationships with drivers Conduct thorough driver debriefs to review journey safety and efficiency Manage tachograph data and monitor infringements

Shift Details Shift: Monday Friday Hours: 1000 1900 Salary: £29,250pa / £12.50ph
