Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. Were looking for a talented Transport Coordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis on our night shift, working Monday to Friday,This is for our XPO shared user network based at the Regional Hub in Leigh.
Pay, benefits and more:
Were looking to offer a salary of up to £36,960 (inclusive of25% shift allowance). We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. Youll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.
What youll do on a typical day:
Co-ordinate the transport operations on & off site to meet both customer and XPO business expectations
Work as part of the XPO night team to achieve all daily operational targets
Work with export customs systems to ensure customer freight is loaded and shipped nightly to Northern Ireland
Play a key role in ensuring our through the night XPO network trunking service enables next day delivery all across the UK
Ensure that all drivers are compliant transport legislation/working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are reported and investigated in a timely manner
What you need to succeed at XPO:
A good understating of fast-paced transport teams
Excellent communication skills youll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders
Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
