Job Description We would like to present you with an exciting opportunity for a Transport Coordinator to join our friendly team at ourPort Salford siteon a full time permanent basis! Salary: £31,986 per annum. Working hours: 4 on 4 off days, 5:30am-17:30pm The purpose of aTransport Coordinatoris toeffectively plan driver and vehicle resources to achieve delivery/collection times, whilst optimising resources and adhering to WTD and drivers hours legislation. Key Duties of aTransport Coordinator: Creating and updating daily run summary in order to achieve delivery and collection deadlines. Ensuring that service levels are achieved and maintained, in conjunction with other departments. Using the Driver rota, planning runs according to shift pattern and available hours, taking into account holidays and sickness.
