As a Transport Manager based in Chesterfield you’ll be responsible for: Managing a team of 7 transport planners and drivers, conducting reviews and 1:1s Helping to maintain and develop customer SLAs, working closely with the warehouse to ensure all dispatches and loads are accurate and correct Reviewing and improving the transport site Liaising with third party hauliers on a regular basis, developing and maintaining strong relationships with them Working internally across multiple teams within the business

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.00am – 8.00pm, no weekend working!

And here’s what we’d like you to have: A manager's CPC is essential so you can run your own fleet of vehicles Proven experience running a multi-site fleet and managing third party contract haulage Continuous improvement in developing and increasing internal transport usage Experience using planning systems such as Master Naut and iStan A strong understanding of Microsoft packages including Microsoft Excel. You will be expected to run reports on Microsoft Excel
