Brightwork's client is currently recruiting a Transport Manager who will have full responsibility for the safe, compliant and efficient operation of their Northern Ireland transport fleet. You will ensure that all fleet activities adhere to statutory requirements, Operator Licence undertakings and our client's internal standards. As Transport Manager you will provide strong leadership to drivers and transport teams, ensuring excellent customer service, high operational performance, and a culture of safety and accountability. Responsibilities Transport Compliance & O Licence Management Act as the named Transport Manager on the Northern Ireland Operator Licence. Ensure full compliance with all Operator Licence requirements, including vehicle maintenance, driver hours, driver competence and record keeping. Maintain up?to?date knowledge of relevant legislation (DVSA, DVA, Working Time Directive, tachograph regulations). Ensure vehicle inspection schedules, defect reporting systems and maintenance procedures are effective and adhered to. Monitor and analyse compliance data (telematics, tacho downloads, inspections, MOT pass rates) and rectify non?conformance promptly. Oversee fleet operations across all NI sites.
