Transport Planner– Mirfield - £32,000 - £36,000

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a UK leading manufacturer in Mirfield who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Planner to join their team.

The Role

As the Transport Planner, you will take responsibility for day to day planning, coordination and delivery performance across the fleet. Key tasks include:

Developing and improving daily and weekly delivery plans Allocating vehicles and resources to achieve maximum utilisation Planning multi drop routes and maintaining efficient transit times Working closely with warehouse and distribution teams to support order fulfilment Identifying issues, preventing disruption and resolving transport bottlenecks Monitoring costs and helping reduce spend without affecting service Maintaining compliance with transport regulations and internal policies Using transport systems, route planning tools and data reporting dashboards Tracking live deliveries and sharing updates with stakeholders

The Person

Previous experience within a transport planning role Confident use of transport management systems and route planning tools Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Clear communication and effective negotiation skills Awareness of transport rules and compliance expectations
