Job Title: Transport Planner

Reports To: Transport Operations Manager Location: Liverpool Salary: Up to £35,000 (Depending on Experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Transport Planner to join our dynamic and growing logistics team. The successful candidate will have solid experience working in a transport office environment, with a strong understanding of driver's hours, Working Time Directive (WTD), and container work. Knowledge of European operations, general haulage, and backloading processes will be advantageous.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining the efficiency and compliance of our daily transport activities, while contributing to the overall performance of the logistics function.

Key Responsibilities

Transport Operations: Support the day-to-day management of the transport office, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics operations. Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with driver's hours and WTD regulations. Container Logistics: Plan and manage container work to meet customer delivery timelines and optimise costs.
