The Company provides integrated third-party logistics solutions including bonded and non-bonded warehousing and supply chain management to a number of blue-chip customers across Scotland and England. Your new role This role is ideally suited to an individual with a keen interest in transport and distribution who can demonstrate a proven record of effective and efficient transport planning within a busy national fleet operation. As a planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive first-class service while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of our national fleet, making a real impact every day. Main areas of responsibility will include: Providing quick and efficient service to our customers across the business. Oversee day-to-day fleet planning and prioritising workload and plan routes for our three biggest customers. Daily driver brief and de-brief. Track tachographs to maintain safety and regulatory standards. Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to streamline operations.
