Youll play a key role in ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of products across the UK, supporting both customer service and operational performance.This is a full-time, permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week on a night shift pattern, following a 5-from-7 rota. The shift pattern operates as Week 1: 6 on / 1 off and Week 2: 4 on / 3 off, working between Saturday to Thursday, 10:00pm 6:00am.Pay, benefits and more:Youll be paid a salary of up to £30,564.61 per annum, plus an additional night shift premium of £83.33 per month. Youll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!Including our GXO University which provides you the opportunity to learn new skills and gain qualifications at a pace that youre comfortable with.What youll do on a typical day: Fully utilise all vehicles to ensure accurate and appropriate allocation of drivers/vehicles/trailers/customer deliveries/trunking and backhaul Control and plan operational deliveries for the following day and process all customer bookings to meet customers needs and expectations Work closely with the operations to ensure vehicles and trailers are available to support the transport requirement and advise the operation in a timely manner when there are any risks to vehicle or trailer availability Communicate effectively with all customers and work with them to understand and resource their schedules Identify, communicate, and drive any continuous improvements to continually develop the operation of the business What you need to succeed at GXO: Previous experience working with planning teams and transport operations Strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills A good geographical knowledge of the UK Experience working with Paragon routing and scheduling software would be advantageous We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.JBRP1_UKTJ
