A leading, employee-owned planning-led consultancy is seeking a Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner to join its growing Transport & Infrastructure team in Bristol.

With continued expansion across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated transport professional to take on varied, high-quality projects while developing their technical expertise and client-facing experience within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a busy Bristol-based team delivering transport planning, traffic engineering and infrastructure design services to support development proposals nationwide.

Working under the guidance of senior staff, responsibilities will include:

Preparing Transport Assessments and Travel Plans

Supporting development proposals from early planning through to delivery

Managing and prioritising projects on a day-to-day basis

Developing strong client relationships

Contributing to high technical standards across the teamCandidate Requirements

Ideally 1+ years’ experience in a transport planning role

A solid understanding of transport planning principles and development-led projects

Experience preparing Transport Assessments and Travel Plans

Working knowledge of ARCADY, PICADY, TRICS, AutoCAD and Excel

Strong written, verbal and technical communication skills

Good interpersonal and relationship management abilities
