Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (flexible for the right candidate)
Hours: Monday – Friday (45 hours, flexible start/finish)

Transport & Yard Manager – Perth

We’re supporting a well-established industrial operation in Perth in the search for a Transport & Yard Manager to take ownership of transport and yard activities on site.

This is a key position reporting directly to the Site Manager, offering the chance to step into a role with real autonomy and influence. You’ll be responsible for driving standards across transport compliance, yard operations, and overall site performance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage transport operations in line with Operator’s Licence requirements

* Lead and supervise a team of drivers and yard operatives

* Oversee yard activity, material flow, and internal stock control

* Ensure compliance with transport legislation and site safety standards

* Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement

* Work closely with site leadership to support overall site performance

Essential Requirements:

* CPC Transport Manager qualification (ESSENTIAL – must hold)

* Proven experience in a transport, yard, or operational management role

* Background within logistics, distribution, aggregates, or heavy industry environments

* Experience managing mixed teams (drivers and yard staff)

* Strong understanding of transport compliance and site-based operations

* Full UK driving licence
