Quantum Scholars are seeking qualified teachers (QTS) and experienced tutors to deliver 1-to-1 tuition across Ilfracombe and the surrounding North Devon area.
This work supports pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education, with tuition delivered either on school sites or off-site in non-educational settings.
This role is ideal for teachers looking for a flexible, part-time alternative to mainstream classroom teaching, while continuing to make a meaningful impact through individualised support.

Role Overview

1-to-1 tutoring across Ilfracombe and North Devon

Delivery may take place on school sites or off-site in community or non-educational settings

Pupils may present with a range of needs, including autism, behavioural challenges, SEMH, anxiety, or school refusal
*
Part-time, flexible hours depending on pupil and placement needs
Requirements
*
Qualified Teacher Status preferred, or strong tutoring experience
*
Enhanced DBS (Update Service desirable)
*
Ability to travel locally within Ilfracombe / North Devon
*
Experience working with pupils with autism, behavioural needs, SEMH, or alternative provision backgrounds is highly desirable
*
Calm, adaptable, and relationship-focused teaching approach
Pay

Rate dependent on experience and qualifications
