Company Description
The UK Research Integrity Office (UKRIO) is the UK’s national advisory body for research integrity. Established in 2006, we provide guidance and support to strengthen good research practice, enhance research culture, and champion integrity across the research sector.
We are seeking up to four new trustees to join our Board at a pivotal moment in UKRIO’s evolution. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a respected UK-based charity, help shape its strategy, and influence conversations on research integrity during a period of significant sectoral change.
About the Role
As a trustee, you will help guide UKRIO’s strategic direction, ensuring the organisation remains effective, accountable, and aligned with its mission. You will provide oversight of governance, risk management, and organisational performance, working closely with the Chair and CEO. Trustees also act as ambassadors for UKRIO, engaging with external stakeholders, advocating for research integrity, and supporting the organisation’s influence on policy and practice.
This is a voluntary, unpaid role, with reasonable travel and other expenses reimbursed. Trustees can expect to commit the equivalent of half a day to 1.5 days per month, including Board meetings, sub-comm...
