This is a new opportunity to join a small MGA. It is looking for mainstream commercial combined underwriter, a property / liability background working SME/Mid-Market level risks.

You should be an experienced underwriter, with strong capability and presence working with both clients and brokers. This role offers a genuine opportunity to be part of something from the start, someone who is a self starter, has an entrepreneurial approach, passionate about underwriting and who would be particularly interested in moving towards a niche product within the commercial underwriting platform. This role will start working across the UK, but will widen to Europe in the future.

In addition to property and liability, there will also be opportunities to develop knowledge in marine cargo - training within this area will be offered.

Office attendance only required circa 2 days a week in London; it will be necessary to travel to continually develop the broker relationships nationally, but you can manage your diary accordingly to fit this in around your working lifestyle. New and exciting prospect which will work well for a self starter, someone who has been underwriting for a minimum of 5 years and who would enjoy working in a close knit team, offering responsibility and long term exposure and possible management opportunities.
