Underwriter - Medical Malpractice | £60,000-£100,000 + Bonus Location: City of London ( 3-4 days per week in the office ) Employer: Leading International Insurer A leading City of London insurer is seeking a Medical Malpractice Underwriter to join its Global Markets (Non-US) division. This role is ideal for an experienced Med Mal Underwriter or a strong Assistant Underwriter looking to step up.
Role Responsibilities Underwrite a wide range of Medical Malpractice risks across the UK and Europe.
Develop and manage the delegated authority portfolio.
Build and maintain strong broker and coverholder relationships.
Review and assess new and renewal business, setting pricing, terms and endorsements.
Identify growth opportunities and contribute to market and portfolio strategy.
Ensure high standards of underwriting accuracy and documentation.
Skills & Experience Required Medical Malpractice underwriting experience (essential).
Strong technical, analytical and decision-making skills.
Ability to develop and maintain key market relationships.
Confident communicator and proactive team player.
CII qualifications desirable.
