Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant (Unqualified - Temp-to-Perm) Location: BlackpoolSetting: Specialist SEND School (Primary & Secondary)Contract Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-PermStart Date: ASAP About the Role We are working with a specialist SEND school in Blackpool that is looking to appoint a resilient and empathetic Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role is ideal for individuals from backgrounds such as support work, youth work, residential care, or similar, or those with personal experience supporting individuals with additional needs. The school supports both primary and secondary-aged pupils, so flexibility or preference across either age group is welcomed. You'll play a key role in helping pupils regulate emotions, build trust, and re-engage with education.
