As demand grows for their beautifully upholstered products - from pods to sofas - they’re expanding their talented product development team.\n\nAs an Upholstery Product Developer, you’ll bring creative ideas to life - turning concepts into high quality, commercially viable products. Collaborating with international design studios and working hands-on in the workshop, you’ll play a key role in every stage of development, from prototype to production.\n\nUpholstery Product Developer role:\n\n * Develop and refine prototypes, testing comfort, ergonomics, and durability.\n\n * Source, test, and evaluate upholstery materials, foams, and finishes that meet design and sustainability goals.\n\n * Carry out upholstery work in the workshop when needed.\n\n * Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly from sampling through to production.\n\n * Continuously improve existing product ranges and explore new opportunities for innovation.\n\nAbout You\n\n * Proven experience in upholstery and pattern cutting.\n\n * Strong knowledge of upholstery construction, foams, textiles and frames.\n\n * Practical problem-solver with a hands-on, can-do attitude.\n\n * Excellent communication and organisational skills.\n\n * Technical drawing or CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) desirable.\n\nWhat’s on offer for the Upholstery Product Developer:\n\n * Salary between £30,000 - £32,000, with room to grow.\n\n * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.\n\n * Company pension contribution.\n\n * The opportunity to collaborate with international design studios on innovative, sustainable furniture projects
