A full-time opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Upper KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Tower Hamlets. This long-term role is available for an immediate start and offers a daily rate of £90 to £115, depending on experience.

Are you experienced supporting pupils in Year 5 or Year 6? Do you have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and confidence delivering interventions in Maths and English? Are you committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential ahead of SATs?

The Role – Upper KS2 Teaching Assistant

As an Upper KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support teaching and learning across the curriculum. You will provide targeted 1:1 and small group interventions, particularly in preparation for SATs, helping to raise attainment and boost pupil confidence. You will also support pupils with additional needs, ensuring lessons are inclusive and engaging for all learners. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships are essential.
