When you join Eaton, you become part of a global company where your work makes a real impact.We're now looking for a UPS Power Quality Field Service Engineer to join our UK team who will cover the Southern UK region.What youll do:As the UPS Power Quality Field Service Engineer, you will deliver exceptional service to Eatons customers. In this role, you will carry out preventative maintenance on Eaton-manufactured UPS systems and support existing installations to ensure optimal performance. You will play a key role in supporting hyperscale data center operations across the region.Responsibilities:Perform fault diagnosis on UPS systemsWork confidently with on-line and line-interactive UPS technologiesConduct preventative maintenance across an established customer baseCommission and repair all UPS system types, including standalone and parallel configurationsSet up and configure remote monitoring softwareCommunicate technical information to key stakeholdersApply anti-static procedures consistentlyFollow the ECN process for all repairsQualifications:HNC or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)Strong knowledge of three-phase electrical installation or maintenanceSolid understanding ofUPS systemsFamiliarity with industrial communication protocols:Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IPUnderstanding ofPLC programming (power control, generator control, SCADA, process control)Skills:Strong communication and customer-focused approachProblem-solving mindsetAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyAdaptable and confident in fast-paced environmentsCollaborative team playerWhat we offer:Training, development, and career progressionCompany vehicle & other benefitsWellbeing programs and a strong safety cultureOpportunity to work with leading UPS technologies in mission-critical environmentsJBRP1_UKTJ
