USK Catchment Partnership Project Manager Location: Brecon Salary: Grade 9 £39,152 - £41,771 per annum Vacancy Type: Fixed Term Contract March 2027 Hours: 37 hours per week Closing Date: 1st September 2025 Interview Date : 9th September 2025 National Parks were designated in order to protect beautiful areas for the benefit of the nation. They came about as a result of the 1949 National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act, which put a legislative framework in place for the establishment of National Parks in England and Wales. The Role The Usk Catchment Partnership consists of organisations which have come together to improve the viability of the river Usk and its wider catchment area. The post holder will project manage and help deliver key outputs of the nutrient management plan and develop an Integrated Catchment Management Plan for the River Usk Special Area of Conservation (SAC). Communication, engagement and involvement of a wide range of people interested in the natural features, the culture and the heritage of this designated river will ensure successful delivery.
