BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Power System Design Lead to take a key technical role within their electronic hardware engineering function. This position focuses on the design, development, and assurance of complex power systems for advanced defence platforms, offering the opportunity to work on innovative solutions from concept through to delivery.

What You'll Be Doing Lead the specification and design of AC and DC power generation and distribution systems, covering everything from 440V AC supplies to low-voltage circuit board rails. Develop power-level DC systems, conversion, protection, regulation, and conditioning solutions. Design and/or specify motor drives, control systems, and precision positioning systems. Oversee EMC management and support testing in line with relevant standards. Work with subcontractors to specify bespoke electrical hardware and manage associated development activities.
