Overview BAE Systems is looking for a Technical Documentation Engineer to join a dynamic Technical Publications team, supporting complex engineering programmes. This is a key role responsible for the creation, validation, and delivery of high-quality technical documentation to support critical systems and operations.
Responsibilities Preparing and validating technical documentation in line with industry and business standards Reviewing OEM manuals and conducting detailed editorial analysis Ensuring technical data specifications are complete, consistent, and ready for subcontracted production Producing integrated training and technical documentation requirements Managing configuration-controlled data and maintaining full audit trails Liaising with engineering, supply chain, training teams, and external suppliers Supporting subcontractors with production specifications and resolving queries Ensuring all documentation is delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards ...
