Valve Fitter Salary: £34,000 Location: Alloa, UK Sector: Engineering A well-established engineering services provider is looking for a skilled Valve Fitter (Grade 1) to join its V&C workshop team. This is a hands-on role focused on the overhaul, repair, and maintenance of industrial valves both in the workshop and on customer sites. The successful candidate will ensure that all valve work is completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The Role
You will be responsible for dismantling, repairing, and rebuilding a range of valves, including Safety, Parallel Slide, Butterfly, and Control valves . You will work closely with supervisors to ensure all work meets company and customer specifications, completing all associated documentation and quality checks. This role requires a proactive approach to safety, quality, and teamwork , with flexibility to work on-site or in the workshop as required.
