Essential experience/qualifications required In house VAT compliance SAP ERP / SAP S4 HANA and / or large scale customer management system implementation experience 3 years post CTA (or equivalent) Financial services Experience working on projects Strong stakeholder management and working cross functionally with different teams Articulate, clear communicator and able to be concise and succinct Job role Developing a detailed understanding of CLIENTs current system landscape and VAT functionality, including any existing constraints and associated manual processes.

Developing a detailed understanding of the core VAT functionality and proposed VAT configuration of the new systems - CMSR, CMS Fleet, SAP S4 HANA.
Developing detailed knowledge of CLIENTS products, income streams, VAT postings, documentation and VAT return configuration.
Undertaking a comparison/gap analysis of proposed functionality against documented VAT requirements and the optimum VAT compliance and efficiency position.
Working with project/product teams to ensure VAT requirements across all systems are reflected accurately in system configuration.
Working with project/product teams to ensure effective prioritisation of VAT related topics.
Ensuring rigorous testing of VAT related functionality is undertaken and any defects resolved prior to go live.
Preparing a detailed written overview of the VAT functionality in each of the systems, identifying how VAT requirements and VAT compliance obligations are met across all income streams and purchase transactions.
This should be an iterative process such that at any given point the functionality that has been developed to date is captured and amendments are made for any subsequent changes to functionality. xehkeey
Working closely with the Head of VAT and VAT manager to keep them up to date on progress and to be informed on any additional VAT related considerations arising from BAU VAT topics.
