About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Vehicle Electrician to join our client's team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and installing electrical harnesses and components in line with bespoke vehicle build specifications. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, suited to someone with experience in electrical engineering, mechanical fitting, vehicle fitting or panel building.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparation and installation of vehicle electrical harnesses and boards

* Fitting 12V and higher-voltage electrical components

* Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and 3D models

* Following structured build processes and technical instructions

* Laying out and assembling custom wiring looms to specification

* Working safely and efficiently in confined or awkward spaces

* Maintaining accuracy and quality in all electrical work

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Proven experience working with 12V vehicle electrics (essential)

* Background in electrical engineering, vehicle fitting, mechanical fitting, or panel building

* Ability to interpret electrical schematics and 3D models

* A strong understanding of health and safety procedures

* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach

* Good physical fitness – able to carry out strenuous work

* A positive attitude, with good timekeeping and reliability

* Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (advantageous)

* Overhead crane experience (desirable – full training provided)

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (desirable)

What We Offer

* Hours of work are: Mon - Thurs 07:30-16:30, Early finish on Friday 07:30-12:45

* Competitive hourly rate starting from £13.25, depending on experience
