Vehicle Fleet Maintenance Coordinator
Location: Hayes / Tamworth / CaerphillySalary: £35,000 - £40,000Hours: 37 hours per weekEmployment Type: Full Time
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to join a service provider supporting a large operational vehicle fleet across the UK.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the company's fleet remains compliant, operational, and cost efficient through effective maintenance scheduling and supplier coordination.
The successful candidate will work closely with transport, operations, and external service providers to ensure all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the scheduling of vehicle inspections, servicing, and MOTs Arrange maintenance and repair bookings with approved suppliers Process and manage vehicle defect reports raised by drivers Authorise maintenance, repairs, and servicing requests Monitor fleet maintenance budgets and ensure cost control Maintain accurate fleet records and compliance documentation Liaise with depots, drivers, and suppliers regarding vehicle availability * Ensure vehicles meet legal and compliance requirements
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in fleet maintenance, transport operations, or vehicle compliance Strong organisational and scheduling skills Experience coordinating maintenance or servicing schedules Ability to manage supplier relationships and authorise repair work Strong attention to detail with compliance documentation * Experience working with fleet management systems is beneficial
Desirable Experience
Fleet administration or transport compliance Vehicle maintenance planning Experience within logistics, distribution, or service fleets
