Job Description
Vehicle Maintenance Technician
Location: Leicester, LE4 1ET
Working hours: 40 per week
Shift: Rotating shifts
Week 1: 06:00-14:30 Mon-Fri
Week 2: 12:30-21:00 Mon-Fri
Salary: Base pay £21.70 per hour , 40 HOURS PER WEEK, HOURS WORKED OVER MONDAY TO FRIDAY

What You Will Be Doing
\n
\n
Performing service and repair of company fleet in line with planned maintenance schedules to ensure our vehicles and trailers are safe, legal and fit for duties
\n
Completing signed service and inspection records
\n
Completing defect reports and associated paperwork to comply with legal requirements
\n
Preparing vehicles and trailers for annual MOT testing to ensure first time pass
\n
Performing ad-hoc vehicle repairs, investigating and rectifying vehicle defects
\n
\n
What Do You Bring With You
\n
\n
Your skill and applicable licenses our vocational training, e.g., LGV C&E license (class one)
\n
Knowledge of the use and operation of all automotive equipment and testing / troubleshooting equipment
\n
Ability to lift and manoeuvre Heavy Vehicle Components
\n
Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting skills
\n
Valid driving license C+E no DD or DR endorsements
\n
HGV level 3 in NVQ or City & Guilds
\n
\n
