You’ll play a key role in maintaining and supporting both UK MOD and international tracked and wheeled tactical military vehicles—work that directly contributes to national defence and operational readiness. The key responsibilities are:
Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on military vehicles and associated electrical systems Interpret and work from technical drawings, engineering process plans, and customer specifications Complete accurate documentation, test certificates, and maintenance reports Conduct equipment inspections to meet production, safety, and quality standards Use workshop tools correctly and report any defects or material issues Collaborate with a dedicated engineering team focused on precision, safety, and mission success What You’ll Bring
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Proven hands‑on experience in a similar mechanical role – Ideal backgrounds: ex‑forces, HGV/PSV, commercial dealerships, plant, agricultural machinery Strong understanding of hydraulics, mechanics, and vehicle diagnostics A team‑focused mindset with good communication skills Ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance (requires no criminal convictions + 5 years UK residency) A targeted medical assessment may be required as part of the onboarding process.
