Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join our family run business. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience to contribute to the smooth running of our team. We will provide training for the right individual including an MOT Tester course ( subject to qualifications)

The position involves working with a range of tools and technical systems, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on cars, vans and motorhomes
Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools. Training will be provided.
Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and assembly tasks.
Perform heavy lifting as required to move parts or equipment safely.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal or external client needs promptly and professionally.
Experience
Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role involving equipment repair and maintenance.
Strong mechanical knowledge.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills with a focus on customer service. xbpsjku This role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure operational excellence.

Pay: £22,568.00-£33,000.00 per year
