Vehicle Technician - MOT Tester

We are seeking a qualified and experienced MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional workshop based in Maidenhead. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards, as well as undertaking servicing, diagnostics, and general vehicle repairs to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations.
Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
Complete all relevant documentation accurately and efficiently.
Ensure all work is carried out to high safety and quality standards.
Communicate effectively with the service team regarding vehicle status and required repairs.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:
Valid MOT Tester licence (Class 4 minimum; Class 7 desirable).
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
Experience with a range of vehicle makes and models.
Manufacturer training (advantageous but not essential).
