We are currently recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a busy and modern automotive workshop in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional team environment where quality workmanship, training, and career progression are highly valued.
The successful candidate will work on a wide range of vehicles, carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards while ensuring excellent levels of safety and quality.
This role may suit candidates who have previously worked in a main dealer, independent garage, fast-fit environment, or service centre.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance
- Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and electrical repairs
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with manufacturer standards
- Accurately record work completed and parts used
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Support and mentor apprentices when required
- Keep up to date with modern vehicle technology through ongoing training
- Qualified Vehicle Technician (IMI Level 3 or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Competitive salary (£32,000 £38,000 OTE depending on experience)
