Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
Location: Nottingham
Hours: 4-Day Working Week (Mon Thurs or Tues Fri | 7am6pm)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, with structured pay scale + bonus opportunities

What Youll Do:
Carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer and MOT standards
Complete electronic vehicle health checks (eVHC) and clearly communicate findings to customers
Conduct pre- and post-service inspections and road tests
Ensure all repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Keep accurate records and comply with all health, safety, and company policies
Mentor apprentices and help develop junior technicians
Participate in regular training to stay up to date with the latest automotive technologie

Additional Pay & Bonuses:
Training Bonus: £1,000 - £2,000
Multi-brand Bonus: £750/year
MOT Certification Bonus: £500/year or £41.67/month
Monthly Efficiency Bonus:
100% Target Achieved: £200/month
110% Target Achieved: £300/month
120% Target Achieved: £400/month
Saturdays: 1 in 3 (4 hours, paid at single time)
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x rate

What Were Looking For:
Level 2 Vehicle Technician (or equivalent)
EV qualification (or willingness to complete it)
Full UK driving licence
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and customer service approach
Organised, reliable, and able to meet deadlines under pressure
