Vehicle Technician

Errigal Motor Co, currently have a great opportunity available for a Vehicle Technician to join our talented team!

You will be responsible for all aspects of vehicle preparation from sales preparations to fault finding, servicing and repairs.

Duties will include but not limited to:

* Performing diagnostic assessments, repairs and maintenance on a range of vehicles.
* Carrying out routine services, including oil changes, brake repairs, clutches and timing belts.
* Road testing vehicles to identify issues
* Inspecting vehicles for safety and compliance with industry standards.
* Maintaining accurate records of all repairs and servicing.
* Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and in a timely manner.
* Ordering vehicle parts from suppliers.
* Booking and take vehicles to MOT appointments.
* Managing and prioritising work load in accordance with business needs.

Qualifications

* Proven experience as a mechanic, with a focus on cars and light vehicles.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive repair (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) is preferred, completed to a minimum level 3.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
* A valid (clean) driving license is essential and must be over 21 for insurance purposes.

We will consider both Full Time and Part time hours for this role

Hours of Work:

Monday – Friday: 9am to 5pm
