We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for our top of the range, state-of-the-art garage! Youll have the space and freedom to work alone (assistance will be provided when required). Youll need the skills and ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.

Requirements

• Do you have a very good mechanical knowledge (Can change timing chains, engine replacement, clutch replacements, servicing+ followingPdi Checks)?
• A good knowledge of Land Rovers?
• Are you Confident with different manufactures?
• Can you change timing belts and wet belts on different manufactures (Ford, Peugeot, VW etc)?
• Fault finding + Diagnosing issues correctly?
• Comfortable with rebuilding engines?
• Have your own small tools? (large tools provided)
• Are you able to work onyourown at times?
• Electrical repair knowledge is desirable not essential.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, engines, and electrical components.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and clients.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanics are advantageous.
• A valid driving licence is required.
