We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our clients reputable and well-established workshop in Newark. The successful professional will be joining a busy team, supporting an apprentice, and working alongside seasoned senior technicians to deliver high-quality vehicle repairs and diagnostics. The Vehicle Technician role offers a varied and challenging workload across all vehicle makes.
Benefits:

• Up to £38,000 basic salary, with an OTE exceeding £40,000
• Working week of 39 hours, Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Friday from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm
• Optional Saturday morning work available

Duties:

• Diagnosing faults and performing comprehensive fault-finding procedures
• Servicing vehicles and undertaking mechanical repairs in line with manufacturer standards
• Conducting replacement of clutches, cambelts, and other heavier repair jobs
• Maintaining workshop standards and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Supporting and mentoring an apprentice within the workshop as a Vehicle Technician

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (preferred)
• Demonstrable confidence across diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs
• Experience with clutch replacement, cambelts, and other major mechanical tasks is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently within a team and adhere to safety and workshop standards
