Our client, a prominent automotive service centre and tyre retailer with multiple outlets nationwide, is seeking a skilled MOT Technician to join their team in Swindon.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MOT Technician looking to progress within a reputable company that offers extensive training and development opportunities.

Competitive basic salary between £36,000 and £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Performance-based bonuses with potential on-target earnings of £40,000 to £41,000

Duties:

Carrying out MOT tests on customer vehicles in accordance with Ministry of Transport standards
Diagnosing and completing servicing and repair work as required
Supporting the workshop team with general duties to ensure smooth daily operation as an MOT Technician
Occasionally assisting at the front reception desk with customer enquiries
Ensuring all work is completed within specified time frames and to a high standard
Maintaining accurate records of repairs, services, and MOT testing results

Requirements:

Proven experience as an MOT Technician, gained through employment or apprenticeship
Valid MOT Tester licence and a clean UK driving licence
Ability to produce high-quality work efficiently within deadlines
Friendly, professional, and approachable manner as an MOT Technician
Reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Swindon
Good communication skills and the ability to assist with customer enquiries when needed
