Now, as we enter an exciting growth phase, we’re looking for a Vehicle Valeter – Performance & Prestige Cars to help us maintain the standards our customers expect across our sales and aftersales departments.

This isn’t just a valeting role. Our customers value presentation, care, and attention to detail — and we’re looking for someone who takes real pride in their work, enjoys being around exceptional cars, and wants to help us keep improving.

Working with a range of performance and prestige vehicles, you’ll play an important part in how Hofmann’s presents itself every day — from customer service washes to retail vehicle preparation.

What you’ll do

·      Carry out high-quality service washes, ensuring customer vehicles are cleaned promptly and presented to a high standard.

·      Prepare retail vehicles for handover and display, making sure every car leaves us looking its best.

·      Support sales preparation by cleaning, finishing and presenting vehicles to showroom and forecourt standard.

·      Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the valeting and wash areas.

·      Work closely with the sales and service teams to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the business.

·      Take pride in the detail — spotting areas for improvement and helping us raise standards across the department.

·      Be proactive and self-starting, able to manage your time well and get on with the job without needing close supervision.

·      Bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic and enthusiasm for cars and the motor trade.

·      Be a reliable team player who values honesty, transparency and doing things properly.

·      Live within a commutable distance of Henley-on-Thames and be dependable in attendance and timekeeping.

Valeting or car washing experience is helpful, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn matter just as much.
