Objectives
You will have the opportunity to:
* Contribute to a varied and interesting caseload
* Develop advanced clinical and surgical skills, including soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics
* Take part in continuous improvement initiatives within the surgery
* Learn from colleagues who are working towards, or already hold, clinical certificates
* Grow their career within a large, supportive veterinary group
Responsibilities
* Deliver high standards of clinical care to all patients
* Provide preventative healthcare services and treat sick and injured pets
* Carry out a range of surgical procedures, with a focus on soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics where appropriate
* Promote pet well-being and support owners with clear, compassionate advice
* Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical team members
* Maintain accurate clinical records
* Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
* Participate in the weekend rota (1 in 4 weekends)
Requirements
* RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
* Proven experience in small animal practice
* Interest and experience in advanced soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics (desirable)
* Strong commitment to excellent patient care and customer service
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented approach
* Willingness to take part in the weekend rota (1 in 4)
