Lloyd & Cowan is a Specialist Veterinary Recruitment Consultancy, and we are working closely with a purpose-built veterinary practice in Retford, who are seeking to appoint a Veterinary Surgeon- Small Animal Vet.
The role will involve hands-on veterinary care of small animals, providing both emergency and routine healthcare. A varied and interesting caseload with a good balance of surgical and medical work. There’s scope for orthopaedics as well.
The Practice & position:
* Flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career. * Team consists of multiple Vets (including a certificate holders) 7 RVNs and 4 SVNs. * Equipped with an ultrasound with Doppler and ECG, digital DR Xray, dental Xray, video endoscopy and a full internal lab. * Consultations * Small animal surgical procedures * Minor procedures * Client liaison * Working up cases * Caring for hospitalised animals * Treatment plans * Sole charge
Requirement:
* Degree in Veterinary Surgery * Registered with the RCVS * An interest and experience in Orthopaedics would be beneficial however not essential
