North West First Responder Group Charity (registered Charity No. 1214699) is a volunteer-led organisation supporting communities in the Wirral, Liverpool, Neston, Ellesmere Port, Chester and Carlisle. Responding on behalf of the North West Ambulance Service, our Community First Responders (CFRs) are trained to provide life-saving interventions before emergency services arrive. The charity’s efforts are crucial in the “chain of survival,” offering critical support for incidents such as cardiac arrests and acute breathing difficulties. Additionally, we promote community health education, including CPR training and defibrillator use, while donations and fundraising sustain essential equipment and operational resources. Role Description This volunteer role of Fundraising Officer is a hybrid position. There is room for volunteering from home but will require time leading and support events. Tasks will include developing and implementing fundraising strategies, liaising with donors and sponsors, organising fundraising events, and crafting promotional materials for campaigns. The role also involves identifying new fundraising opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with supporters to secure ongoing funding for operational needs. We are hiring for a Fundraising Officer for each region below:

Qualifications
Strong Communication and Writing skills to engage donors, draft campaigns, and create compelling outreach materials (Required) Experience in Charities, particularly in developing and managing fundraising programs (Desirable) Excellent Organization Skills to plan and execute events, manage budgets, and coordinate multiple fundraising activities (Required) Passion for community health and enthusiasm for supporting emergency response initiatives (Required) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment (Required) Previous fundraising experience or experience with non-profit or charity work (Desirable)
