Role Overview
VP Client Services Manager – Manchester, UK. Join our Client Services team to make a lasting impact by overseeing portfolios, managing transactions, and leading client engagement.
Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day oversight of assigned portfolios to ensure high client experience levels.
Transaction management of cash & trade (loans, bonds, etc.): engage with clients for timely execution, report review, and portfolio performance monitoring.
Continuous collaboration with Lead Manager and Group Manager on status of supporting teams.
Lead client meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
Develop strong working relationships with Front Office Relationship Managers.
Escalate and resolve complex client issues to successful resolution.
Train support team on client and deal specific requirements.
Partner with Global Group Managers to streamline business operations and enhance controls.
Serve as escalation point, communicating with internal shared services, external investment managers, brokers, and clients.
Proactively monitor partner activities and hold regular meetings, escalating concerns.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years Corporate Trust or related financial markets/securities industry experience, and minimum 7 years financial services industry experience.
Strong client management experience.
Ability to review deal governing documents.
Experience in loans (syndicated, bi‑lateral, real estate) very desirable.
Solid understanding of product administration and risk management & controls.
Proactively monitor and manage partner activities outside of Ireland.
Strong decision making and ability to quickly address issues.
Financial services technical skills.
Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical, organisational and time‑management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience in CLOs and syndicated loans very desirable.
