Minimum ten years’ experience in fixed income and related markets serving / supporting customers including negotiations or in strategy planning / execution functions; direct customer interaction experience preferred. Working experience within a regulated environment is a plus Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills to build relationships and partner with internal stakeholders Credibility to coach and advise sales teams on how to negotiate and price; excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork Global innovator – Global perspective, both internally and externally, to drive solutions to challenges while understanding and embracing cultural differences Trailblazer – Resourceful, resilient, take intelligent risks without perfect information with a risk mindset, and think creatively to build new paths for others to follow Exceptional computer and analytical skills, with the ability to convey complex analyses through effective data storytelling Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Responsibilities
Works with data, strategy, sales and business planning teams to do data and trend analysis to deliver insights on where price realization is most likely to be possible Partner with Heads of Regional Relationship Management (RM) to focus price realization efforts on specific subregions/sectors and tailor region/sector segment talking points on negotiations Capture best practice and successful tactics in positioning pricing and negotiation from across the regions, and partner with the Sales Enablement Team to enhance already existing and build new, interactive and engaged pricing negotiations training modules and deliver that to RM’s Offer advisory/best-effort support to RMs formulating deal specific proposals for high profile and non-standard situations Works with the Commercial Senior Leadership Team to determine negotiation targets by market segments, balancing the tradeoffs between revenue and coverage goals Build, implement and monitor pricing negotiations KPIs for RMs. Working with the Data Team to design a dashboard for RMs so that they can understand how they perform in their portfolio and track the level of price realization (and thus discount) in their portfolio over time Distill customer and intermediary feedback, market-based information and intelligence, marketing materials and value proposition into talking points that support RM pricing negotiations and related training Provides observations and input to the Pricing Strategy team for price setting purpose in compliance with law and regulation
