£40,000 – £50,000 DOE | Company vehicle and tools | ABB training | Clear progression

Field-based role covering Yorkshire and the surrounding region. Home/van-based with occasional visits to the Leeds depot.

You'll be the go-to technical specialist for a well-established employer in the drives and power electronics space, installing, commissioning, maintaining, and fault-finding ABB variable speed drives across industrial and commercial sites.

What you'll be doing

• Installing and commissioning VSD inverters on customer sites
• Planned and reactive maintenance across the region
• Fault diagnosis under time pressure
• Remote support: programming, parameters, performance optimisation
• Service reports and job records

What you need

• Electrical engineering qualification (degree, HNC or HND)
• Hands-on experience with inverters or drives. ABB ideal, Siemens/Schneider/Danfoss considered
• Able to read schematics and fault-find methodically
• Full UK driving licence
• 18th Edition or CompEx desirable
