We are looking for a dedicated and professional Waiter to join our team and deliver outstanding service to our guests.
The Role:
As a Waiter in Café Royal Grill, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable experience for our guests during their afternoon tea or meal. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service, presenting our unique menu, and ensuring that every detail meets our luxury standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a pleasant and engaging experience from the moment they enter Café Royal Grill.
Present the afternoon tea menu and specialty tea blends, offering knowledgeable recommendations and highlighting our champagne selections.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, communicating them to the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
Serve afternoon tea, including pastries, sandwiches, and scones, with attention to detail in presentation and timing.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables and preparing for the next seating.
Collaborate with the team to create a harmonious dining experience, working closely with the pianist to enhance the ambiance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while maintaining a polished and professional appearance at all times.
Assist in training new staff members on service standards and menu offerings to maintain the high-quality experience that Café Royal Grill is known for.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a waiter in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or afternoon tea setting is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as Café Royal Grill is open 7 days a week from 12 pm to 10 pm.
Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset, with the ability to engage with guests and create memorable moments.
