Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking senior nurse with a passion for quality and safety to deliver world‑class, patient‑focused care as a Band 7 Ward Nurse Manager on our busy Gastroenterology unit ward 4A.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and possess the ability to lead the team effectively.
• Display a positive and professional manner, a non‑judgemental attitude, and openness to change.
• Lead the ward team in a busy, fast‑paced, ever‑changing, and often challenging environment.
• Work with the Matron and a dedicated team of medical and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 2 years’ Gastroenterology experience at Band 6.
• Excellent managerial and leadership skills.
• Drive and passion to create an inspirational learning and working environment that continuously strives for the highest standards of quality care and patient safety.
