7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

£28,000 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience

Full UK Driving Licence – Essential

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse & Material Handler to support their operational and site-based teams. This role involves working across both warehouse and office environments, ensuring materials, equipment and PPE are managed efficiently to support safe and effective site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Drive company vehicles as required

Use a forklift truck and other equipment safely to move, load and unload goods (training provided if needed)

Perform daily manual handling duties, including lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling equipment and materials

Work safely from ladders when required

Receive deliveries, check goods against orders and book into stock or allocate to contracts

Maintain accurate stock records and update systems with goods in/out, contract details and supplier orders

Liaise with suppliers and management regarding stock, equipment, returns, calibration and inspections

Assist with Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and ensure all equipment and PPE are inspected, tracked and stored correctly

Ensure warehouse is clean, organised and stocked with essential materials, including paints, adhesives, resins, cement, oils and fibre rope

Skills & Experience Required

Full UK driving licence (essential)

Good general fitness due to manual handling requirements

Confident computer skills for stock control and ordering systems

Confident telephone manner and communication skills

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Excellent IT skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Training

Full training will be provided on internal systems, equipment tracking portals, company procedures and all role-specific requirements.
