Role: Warehouse Associate
Shift Pattern: Weekend Shift (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
Location: Northampton – High-Performance Engineering / Motorsport Environment
Contract Type: Contract
We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Associate to support a high-performance engineering and manufacturing operation on a contract basis, working a dedicated weekend shift.
This role plays a key part in ensuring components are accurately identified, marked, and tracked in line with engineering drawings, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Operating in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment, you will help maintain full component traceability throughout the manufacturing and logistics process.
Key Responsibilities
- Laser etching metallic components to defined design and quality specifications.
- Applying part-marking labels to composite components in accordance with design intent and regulatory standards.
- Maintaining accurate component traceability within ERP and digital tracking systems.
- Ensuring correct identification and record-keeping of parts throughout all stages of manufacture and storage.
- Working closely with inspection, production control, engineering, and stores teams to support weekend operations.
Skills & Experience Required
- High attention to detail with a methodical and quality-focused approach.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of metallic and composite materials.
- Experience using ERP / MRP systems (e.g. IFS, SAP, or similar platforms).
